1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create a SwingSpeak account, we collect:
- Name — to personalize your experience
- Email address — for account access and communication
- Birth year — to tailor training recommendations to your age group
- Sex — to provide relevant speed benchmarks and training guidance
- Handedness (left or right) — for swing analysis and future features
- Golf handicap (optional) — to customize training intensity
- Training aids you own (optional) — to show relevant programs and features
Account creation is required to use SwingSpeak. You can sign in with Apple or Google.
Training Data
When you use SwingSpeak with your Garmin R10, we collect detailed metrics for every swing, including:
- Club metrics — club head speed, face angle, club path, attack angle
- Ball metrics — ball speed, launch angle, launch direction, spin rate, spin axis
- Timing metrics — backswing duration, downswing duration, tempo
- Computed metrics — estimated carry distance, smash factor
This data is stored locally on your device and synced to our servers. Your swing data is linked to your account to provide personalized insights, benchmarks, and recommendations.
User Contributions
You may create content within the app, such as:
- Custom club configurations and names
- Session notes (typed or voice-entered)
You retain ownership of your contributions, but you grant us a license to use them as described in our Terms of Service.
Usage Data
We collect information about how you use the app:
- Session data (when you practice, duration, swing counts)
- Feature usage (which training programs you use, settings preferences)
- Device information (iPhone model, iOS version)
- Error reports and diagnostics
Usage data is linked to your account to help us understand how you use the app and improve your experience.
What We Don't Collect
- Videos or photos
- Your location
- Health data from Apple HealthKit
- Payment information (handled entirely by Apple)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain SwingSpeak
- Personalize your training programs and recommendations
- Provide appropriate speed benchmarks for your demographic
- Communicate with you about your account, updates, and support
- Send marketing communications (only if you opt in)
- Monitor usage, troubleshoot issues, and improve the app
- Comply with legal obligations
Anonymized and Aggregated Data
We may use anonymized, aggregated data—which cannot be used to identify you—for research, product improvement, developing new features, and training AI models. This helps us build better training programs and understand how golfers use speed training tools.
Legal Basis (GDPR Users)
We process your data based on:
- Consent — for marketing communications
- Contractual necessity — to provide the services you've requested
- Legitimate interests — for product improvement, security, and fraud prevention
- Legal obligations — where required by law
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share your information with:
- Service providers — companies that help us operate (cloud hosting, analytics) under strict confidentiality agreements
- Legal authorities — when required by law or to protect our rights
- Business transfers — if ticketyboo.ai LLC is acquired or merged, your information may transfer to the new owner with notice to you

However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute protection, but we take reasonable measures to safeguard your information.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information only as long as necessary to:
- Provide the services you've requested
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations
Retention periods vary by data type:
- Account information — retained while your account is active; deleted when you delete your account
- Training data — retained while your account is active; anonymized when you delete your account
- Usage analytics — retained for 12 months, then aggregated
- Anonymized data — retained indefinitely for research and product improvement
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Correction — request that we fix inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request deletion of your personal information
- Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
- Objection — object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing
- Data portability — request transfer of your data to you or another service (use the in-app export feature for immediate access)
- Do Not Sell/Share (CCPA/CPRA) — opt out of any sale or sharing of personal data (though we do not sell data)

Your Choices in the App
- Marketing — You choose whether to receive marketing during signup. Change this anytime in Settings or by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email.
- Export your data — You can download all your swing data and account information in Settings → Privacy → Export My Data.
- Delete your account — You can delete your account in Settings → Account → Delete Account. See "Account Deletion" below for details.
Account Deletion
When you delete your account:
- Your personal information (name, email) is immediately and permanently deleted
- Your swing and session data is anonymized (no longer linked to your identity)
- Anonymized data may be retained for research, benchmarking, and product improvement
- You can sign up again with a fresh account at any time
This anonymized data cannot be used to identify you and helps us improve SwingSpeak for all users.
7. International Data Transfers
If you are located outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States where our servers are located.
We use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect personal data transferred internationally.
8. Children's Privacy
SwingSpeak is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately and we will remove it.
9. Third-Party Services
SwingSpeak connects to Garmin R10 hardware via Bluetooth. The R10 is manufactured by Garmin Ltd. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with Garmin. Your use of the R10 is subject to Garmin's own privacy policy and terms.
The app is distributed through Apple's App Store, subject to Apple's privacy policy and terms.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a revised "Last Updated" date.
For significant changes, we'll notify you by email or in-app notification.
